Aurora- The United Republican Fund (URF) recently released their End-of-Session Report Card on members of the Illinois General Assembly. Republican Senator Chris Lauzen of Aurora and candidate for the 14th Congressional District scored 90 points, in a Senate average of just 31. Lauzen was one of only four Senators to reach that impressive mark.
“I have served my constituents in the Illinois State Senate for 15 years and am especially proud of my votes during this Democrat controlled, record-setting long Session. Voting consistently conservative throughout my career demonstrates the respect I have for the taxpayers of my district and state.
The URF, self described as Illinois’ “Oldest, independent, Republican organization, seeking to advance conservative principles, policies, etc. awarded state legislators points for votes on legislation they believe show leadership in defense of limited government, individual liberty, free enterprise, and traditional American values.
"Chris has been a courageous and dependable conservative vote in the Illinois Senate for more than 15 years. The release of the LIFT Scorecard is just further proof of his sterling conservative credentials," said URF President Steve Rauschenberger.
Lauzen concluded, “If the voters of the 14th Congressional District choose to send me as their representative to Washington D.C. in the 2008 Elections, they can expect and be assured that I will continue to support their conservative values. I have the record that proves it.”

What they're saying about Chris Lauzen...
I've heard you on Don & Roma's show on WLS and you come across as being very competent and (above all) principled.
